This is the Alarm service on air quality (PM2.5, PM10, Ozone) forecast and alert notification. You will receive the following text via your mobile phone when you apply for this service. Please note that the text will not be sent to you between 09:00pm~06:00am to avoid disturbing your sleep.

※ Source of air quality forecast: Korea Environment Corporation (AirKorea), Ministry of Environment Possible errors: Texts may not be sent to you according to the condition of the forecast index provider (Korea Environment Corporation, Ministry of Environment) or that of the message system for sending/receiving texts.

We collect the personal information to check those who applied for the Alarm service on air quality information. (to provide advice or answer questions, etc.) We collect only the information needed to manage the service applicants.

How long do we keep your information?
We keep the information until you cancel the Alarm service.

• You may not consent to provide your personal information. In this case the Alarm service application will be limited.
• The personal information will be used for above purposes only, and it will not be shared with any other third party.

※ Criteria for sending Forecast and/or Alert Alarm service
  • · Forecast: When the forecast level is expected to be worse than “Unhealthy,” today’s forecast will be sent at 6:00am and tomorrow’s forecast will be sent at 6:00pm. (Twice per day)
  • · Alert (Advisory, Warning): Alert is issued when the concentration is expected to rise to the level that could be harmful to health.
